2012-explanation please?
Hey everyone,
This may sound like complete BS, but it truly isn’t.
I know, that there has been rumors that the world was going to end on new years 2000 , and on June 6th 2006 because of the triple 6’s, but they only had a few reasons to relate to that cause.
New years 2000 , the only reason was that the world was going to go at war, and that all the computers were going to be at lost, because it would reset the whole systems because it would read 00!
It never ended up happening!
June 6th 2006 , there was a rumor the world was going to end today too , because of the triple 6’s , and because it represents the devil .
Well, it didnt end now did it , and that was pretty much the only reason why!
There are alot of believable, and scientifically proven reasons, why the world is going to end on December 21st 2012,
and here are some of the reasons!
1. If any of you guys have ever watched Apocalypto, that was released in 2006 , you will have a better knowledge of this point. Those, people that were taking away the innocent tribe in the forest were called Mayans.
They were pretty much good at two things !
Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and
Sacrificing Virgins.
Yes, they worshiped the sun , but they were extremely intelligent.
In that pyramid that they chopped the virgins heads off, they had a Mayan calendar. That calender was basically the calender of life. Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. It had everything in it, and everything in the Mayan calendar has been true so far . Well, on December 21st 2012 , the calendar stops and it says the world is going to end on that day. They predicted the length of the moon, a thousand years from then and got it right on , how much of a coincidence that they say the world is going to end exactly on that day and that year.
SCARY MUCH?!
2. With all the solar system storms we have had, it has effected our sun, and even solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. Recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it’s been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it’ll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012, and sure enough the worlds predicted to end on 2012 thats the end of that year?!
3. Scientists in Europe have been building the worlds largest particle accelerator. ( don’t even ask me what that it is exactly and why they are making it ) but basically its a 27km tunnel designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the Universe tick. However, the mega-gadget has caused serious concern, with some scientists suggesting that it’s properly even a bad idea to turn it on in the first place. They’re predicting of deadly results, including mini black holes. So when this machine is fired up for its first serious experiment in 2012 in December , the world could be crushed into a super-dense blob the size of a basketball.

4. Not only are scientists warning us about the end of the world in 2012 bad enough , but religious people are in the act as well. Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

5.Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it’s sitting on top of the world’s biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we’re many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.
By now , im pretty damn nervous.
6. This one’s case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they’ve determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they’re claiming their calculations prove, that we’re all going to die, very soon - while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.
So far, we have religions, scientists, and math involved in this happening.
7. We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun’s radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so

Your post is full of half truths and misunderstood science. And don”t quote from a movie to back up what you claim to be a scientific theory. If it’s a real scientific theory give real sources, not rumour.Have you read any real science or just the bull on the internet?
This whole theory is utter drivel and NOTHING has been scientifically proven. You are going to feel very silly in 2013.

ok speaking in a religious way, yes the world will end but it might be before or after the year 2012 no one knows the day, only god know, we are all going to die someday we can sleep today but who knows if tomorrow we will wake up, only God know the time and year.

The Mayans did not believe the world would end in 2012. Until I see it, then I don’t believe it. Call me a skeptic, well I am. I think it’s a crock of bull if I ever heard one. You’re right on one thing, they have had many omens about the world ending - and none of them were true.
